Workshops offered in May on young adult ministry

The Dioceses of Sacramento and Stockton are co-sponsoring a young adult ministry workshop in May to help young adult ministers strengthen their knowledge and skills.
“Opening Parish Doors to Young Adults,” is the title of a workshop to be offered twice on Tuesday, May 11 at St. Joseph Church, located at 9961 Elk Grove-Florin Rd. in Elk Grove, presented by Joan Weber. Weber, who is young adult project coordinator for the Center for Ministry Development and holds a master’s degree in pastoral ministry from Creighton University, will present the workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The cost to attend is $25 per person.
