ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Department of Evangelization and Catechesis (DEC) has an opening for a full-time (35 hours per week) Administrative Assistant. The start date is negotiable, but no later than September 30. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, including Spanish/English translation, to the various ministries of the DEC. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (especially Word, Excel, and Access) is a must, as are well-developed organizational skills. Candidate must be bi-lingual, English and Spanish.

ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION (HALF-TIME)
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following: overseeing children’s faith formation for ages Pre-K through 8 th grade; youth confirmation and Catholic Youth Ministry for Junior High/Middle School Students. This person would be responsible for the recruitment, formation and evaluation of catechists; offers advice on the purchase of materials and supplies; sees to scheduling and proposes budgetary matters; any other activity to make these areas of ministry function at their optimal level. Basic Catechist Certification required, Master Catechist preferable; person must be able to work in a collaborative and empowering fashion. Salary would be negotiated. Maximum of 19 hours per week.

BOOKKEEPER
Job Summary
As a member of the school administrative staff, day-to-day fiscal and operational services and computer input/output services in accordance with diocesan recommended internal control procedures. Responsible for cash receipts, cash disbursement, payroll, general ledger and financial statements. Assist with reporting. Reports to the principal.
Requirements
Education, Training and/or Experience: Associate of Arts degree plus a minimum of three years experience in bookkeeping. Must have extensive prior experience with:
- using QUICKBOOKS
- reconciling bank accounts using QUICKBOOKS
- processing ADP PAYROLL
Skills/Knowledge: Competent bookkeeping, computer and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and perform all essential functions.
Become familiar with all aspects of Diocesan financial policies and procedures.

CHOIR DIRECTOR/ACCOMPANIST (PART-TIME)
Divine Savior parish in Orangevale is seeking a skilled musician to join our music ministry team. Ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with a bachelor’s degree in music or equivalent experience, piano/organ proficiency, strong knowledge of Catholic liturgy, and understanding of the assembly’s role in liturgical music. A variety of needs exist at Divine Savior, and candidate’s strengths will be matched with appropriate choir and ensemble vacancies, which include adult traditional choir, contemporary ensemble (new) and tween/teen choir and ensembles (new). Responsibilities include d irecting choir and/or accompanying music for Weekend Masses, Holy Day Masses, and Sacrament Celebration Masses (e.g. First Communion, Penance Services, and Confirmation); music selection under the direction of the parish Director of Music, participation in and promotion of parish concert series.(new)

COORDINATOR OF DEAF MINISTRY

PIANO ACCOMPANIST
St. Teresa of Avila Church in Auburn, CA. is seeking a piano accompanist for adult choir . . . . Initially one Mass on Sunday mornings, Holy Days of Obligation and one evening rehearsal on Wednesdays (approx. 4 hrs/week).
