Director of Clergy Formation, Pastoral Center, Sacramento
The Diocese of Sacramento has an immediate opening for a Director of Clergy Formation.
The Director of Clergy Formation is responsible for the continuing education programs for both priests and deacons of the diocese, administration of the formation process for deacon candidates, and supervision of administrative support staff for these programs.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and English, have knowledge and experience with formation programs, have an M.A. in Theology or Religious Studies or equivalent, and be a practicing Catholic whose faith is an essential part of his or her daily life. Deacon or religious applicants are preferred.

Tribunal Office Opening, Diocesan Pastoral Center
The Diocesan Pastoral Center has an opening beginning July 1, 2013 for a full-time (35 hours per week) Auditor for the Tribunal Department. This person works cooperatively with the judicial vicar, tribunal judges, and other members of the tribunal staff regarding issues relating to marriage (dispensations and annulments). Specifically, this position assists in the canonical instruction of cases presented to the court for evaluation by interviewing petitioners, respondents and witnesses in person or by phone.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and excellent phone and organizational skills are required. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment is essential. Demonstrated experience in pastoral work preferred along with sound interviewing skills. Bilingual skills a plus but not required. Piano Accompanist, Divine Savior, Orangevale
Divine Savior Catholic Church in Orangevale is seeking a piano accompanist. Duties include: Playing piano and leading rehearsal for contemporary music group for 4:30 Saturday mass; accompanying the traditional choir at 9:30 and 7:45 am masses on Sunday with weekly Tuesday night rehearsal. Successful applicants will be able to play traditional and contemporary styles, read piano notation and play from lead sheet with chord comfortably, as well as have skills to lead singers in weekly rehearsals.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish, a small parish in Auburn, CA is seeking a part-time bookkeeper. Duties include recording income and expenses on a regular basis in Quickbooks. Preparing weekly and monthly reports for the Finance Council and pastor. Preparing bank reconciliations. Payroll timesheet collection and recording of payroll, although payroll is not processed by Parish. Minimal HR duties are also required. Various annual duties including budget preparation, annual report, and 1099/tax duties. Ideal candidate would have Quickbooks and bookkeeping experience, and general Microsoft office skills.
