Priest Personnel
The ordained ministry of priests is a great gift to the Church. “Through the ordination and mission which they receive from the bishops, priests are promoted to the service of Christ the Teacher, Priest and King. Priests are given a share in Christ’s ministry, through which the Church here on earth is being ceaselessly built up into the People of God, Christ’s Body and the temple of the Spirit.” Decree on the Ministry and Life of Priests, Presbyterorum Ordinis, #1
Vicar for Priests
The Vicar Episcopal for Priests is appointed by the Diocesan Bishop and also serves as Priests’ Personnel Director. He provides staff support to the Diocesan Bishop and to the Priests Personnel Board in the assignment of priests and other matters concerning priests. Diocesan Statutes, # 21

2. Collaborate with the diocesan bishop in the governance of the diocese.
3. Be a forum for treating the questions presented to it by the diocesan bishop and for making proposals on pastoral matters to him. Presbyteral Council Constitution and By-Laws
