Bishop William Weigand convened the third and final session of the Third Diocesan Synod on October 9, 2006, in Sacramento at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
During
the convening session, a diocesan response on the progress of the implementation
of the Synod Initiatives was presented to Synod delegates and group
discussions were held to review and assess the progress of implementation
of the initiatives at the parish level.
