Q. When and where will it be this year?
A. It will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 8:30 a.m.
(with hospitality beginning at 8) until 3:45 p.m. - lunch is included -
at St. Francis Catholic High School, which is located at 5900 Elvas Avenue in Sacramento.
Q. Who is it for?
A. Catechist Ministry Day is geared for anyone 18 years old and above involved in the teaching mission of the Church, whether it's with a youth group, at a Catholic school, the Sunday school program at your parish, adult faith formation, the Rite of Christian Initation of Adults, etc.
Q. What is the cost?
A. If you register before September 5, 2008, the cost per person is $25. Registrations received after this date will jump up $5 per person to $30.
Q. What all happens at Catechist Ministry Day?
A. We'll kick the day off with Mass celebrated by Bishop William Weigand, and the day will include the ability to attend two workshops of your choice, a powerful keynote by Coadjutor Bishop Jaime Soto, a delicious lunch, and breaks in-between with the ability to browse the tables of many exhibitors.
