Rent VHS and DVD Media for free (with small shipping charge)
GENERAL INFORMATION
All media materials are scheduled for rental on a first-come, first-served basis, and are available to diocesan organizations, schools, parishes, and other religious groups.
Previews
Video may be previewed at the Diocesan Pastoral Center by appointment.
Reservations
A video may be reserved for a specific date by calling our office at least two weeks ahead of time. We will do our best to accommodate your requests. Place reservations for videos early to assure getting what you want.
Ordering
Allow at least one day to process your order and two days shipping. Call the Department of Evangelization and Catechesis at (916) 733-0123 to reserve a video for pick up. For shipping requests, be sure to fill out the shipping form completely, making sure to include the title, catalog numbers, dates, shipping and billing addresses of school or parish, your name and phone number. Shipped orders are sent UPS and are to be returned by UPS or first-class mail.
Please note that a $5.00 fee per DVD/video will be added to cover shipping costs.
Rental Rates
There is no charge to rent a video. Rental is for a 2 week period. Rental shipping fee must be paid in advance. Therefore, we request that you send a check along with the Rental Shipment Form, made out to “DEC”.
Late Returns
Due dates are approximately two weeks after the date of the order submission. Videos not received here by the due date will be subject to a late fee of $3.00 per week per item.
Damage of Loss
Damages (excluding normal wear) and replacement costs are charged to the user.
Copyrights
Federal law provides civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or exhibition of copyrighted video tapes.
