Scripture Institute (S.I.)
The Diocesan Scripture Institute was started in the Fall of 2007 to provide instruction/formation for the lay faithful in the Holy Bible.
WHAT IS CURRENTLY BEING OFFERED
Register and attend the Scripture Institute.
Fall 2008 through Spring 2009 in Sacramento
Year 2 of the Scripture Institute contains 3 cycles, which will focus on (1) the Pentateuch, (2) the Prophets, and (3) the Gospel of John. Sessions commence in mid-September and will consist of at least one hour of direct instruction on the text along with small group discussion. Each session is held at the Diocesan Pastoral Center (2110 Broadway in Sacramento) on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Free parking is available.
