Parishioners of St. Clare Parish in Roseville celebrated the grand opening of the new Morris Center May 6-7, with a dedication by Auxiliary Bishop Richard J. Garcia and other festivities. The 13,000-square-foot building, designed in the Southwest mission style to compliment the church dedicated in 2002, will be used for religious and social activities. It includes a professional kitchen and a meeting hall to accommodate 240 people at tables or 500 people as an auditorium. The hall can also be divided into meeting and classrooms for the parish’s 50 ministries. In the past five years, the parish has grown from 700 to some 3,500 families.
