Fun festival. Sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 1951 North Ave. in Sacramento. Activities begin at 9:30 a.m. with a pancake breakfast followed by games, bingo, music and a variety of foods. Family fiesta. From 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Christ the King Retreat Center at 6520 Van Maren Lane in Citrus Heights, featuring craft booths, garage sale, games, raffle and silent auction. Always Our Children. A Catholic support group for parents of lesbian, gay or bisexual children of any age. The group, approved by Bishop William K. Weigand, provides a safe place to share, an opportunity to receive the support of other parents, a place of compassion and an environment of trust and confidentiality. Group meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Interested parents can leave a message at (916) 497-1365.
