At this Eucharist the Bishop blesses the HOLY OILS, which are used in sacramental celebrations in all the parishes of the Diocese throughout the coming year. Also in this liturgy our priests renew their commitment to priestly service in our midst. The Chrism Mass is a reminder that we are all a priestly people, called to proclaim the gospel in accordance with the sacraments we have received.
